About this charter
Sailacat offers private sailing yacht charters in the heart of the Hamptons.
You sail aboard Serenity, a French catamaran, from 1 Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. Weekend 4-hour sails include a beach break with swim time; midweek sails run 2 to 4 hours around the harbor and Shelter Island. Captain Kal, a Sag Harbor native, founded Sailacat and has offered sails here since the early 2000s, with Port Captain Brian and apprentice Miles on board.
On board: bean bag chairs at the bow and on the netting, a Bluetooth speaker for your music, paddle boards, pool noodles, a floating bar for drinks in the water and a large cooler with fresh ice.
Trips and prices
Midweek harbor sail
Monday to Thursday. Plus 20% service fee.
Weekend beach sail
10am to 2pm or 4pm to 8pm, with a beach break and swim time.
Sunset Sailing Cruise
Timed for sunset. Plus 20% service fee.
Bachelorette Party Sail
Midweek harbor sail with a complimentary signature cocktail toast.
Spa Sails
Sound Bath Serenity Sail, Grace & Gratitude Moon Sailabration and Sunrise Serenity Sail, guided by Christar.
Sea School

Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes. Bring snacks and drinks; the floating bar keeps drinks with you in the water.
Do children need life jackets?
Yes. Children under 12 must wear PFDs aboard under New York State law.
What sunscreen can we bring?
Lotion only. Spray lotion stains the decks and makes them slippery.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Smoking, vaping and drugs are not allowed aboard.

Kal and Brian are so accommodating. We had some paddleboarding time and the sunset was gorgeous. We will be back next season fro at least 2 trips. Let's go girls!
